I think I have fixed the forum from sending out messages about users not participating or your account will be deleted - this of course was not true - if you get any of these kinds of messages dated after today please send me the message and let me know it is still sending out these useless messages I cant fix what I dont know about thanks...

Winter 2 day over nighter meetup in January 29/30 2011

Thu Dec 16, 2010 8:51 pm // 0 comments // Bushcraft Bill

I am going to have a Winter 2 day over nighter meetup in January 29/30 2011 I may stay an extra day if not to cold if you would like to join in make yourself known here this will happen rain or shine or snow location will be Harrison hot springs back road on right side of lake go to the landing strip its a straight section of the logging road as soon as you come to it you will see paths on the left side that is were I will be it is 32 Kilometres in from the start of the logging road to the landing strip ...

it is a large area a bit rocky and sandy camping site right by the river a very nice large open location that we have used in the past bring your cold weather gear..

How to survive the cold surviving frostbite fire prep and making winter fishing net making water safe to drink and what ever else we can pack in over the weekend...

I am hoping that the road will be OK and drivable - not closed due to snow.... if you have been in the area late January let us know what road conditions are like..
