A handcrafted replica / reproduction Bronze Age (1100BC - 500BC) arrow.
The projectile point is handcrafted from bone (Bovine), and attached to the shaft by Pine Tar and natural sinew. The
fletching consists of feathers, attached to the shaft with sinew and natural fibres.
The arrow itself is an exact reproduction based on archaeological evidence of bone arrowheads
found at a late Bronze Age fortified settlement at Asva, in Estonia. (The archaeological article describing the bone arrowheads and their context is included)
The dimensions of the arrow are as follows.
Arrowhead: 120mm (length) x 25mm (width)
Whole Arrow: 1000mm (length)
This archaeologically accurate reproduction would make a brilliant gift for anyone
interested in the human past, archery, or archaeology, or would love to own a one of its
kind handcrafted primitive arrow. It can be easily mounted within a frame and hung on
your wall.
