Where does everyone do their bushcraft?

Hi guys!

I'm in SW Ontario. I do lots of trips "up north" to go canoeing, backpacking and hunting through out the year. My question is for all the people who don't live up north. Where do you do your bushcraft when you're not up north?

Do most of you own land? Go to crown land? practice "guerrilla/stealth" bush craft?

I do have property up north here in BC that I try to get to for a few weeks out of the year but here locally/city I have a few spots within an hours drive that get me to some very nice places to practice bushcraft... just wish more would have the time to come along to share in the experience but life gets in the way of most folks....

My friend has some land a couple hours north of where I am here in Southern Ontario. That's where I do most of my camping. My new interest in carving I practice anywhere I can, backyard, garage... in my bedroom over a garbage bin...

I practice wherever I can. If I cannot make it out to the bush, I will just throw down right in my back yard. I have access to lots of materials in the woods behind me so I harvest what I need and drag it back to my yard.

I am fortunate to live where I do. I have mountain wilderness within a short drive.

I eneded up back where I started here in NS, lots of family land to run amok on. Feel pretty gratefull about it.
