New KaBar Johnson Adventure knives

Hi,
Any of you guys and gals picked up and/or used either the new Kabar Baconmaker or Potbelly knives. The Potbelly especially looks very suited to bush and camp work, only problem is KaBar for some bizarre reason does not list them, yet they are for sale on several reputable online knife stores. Warrior and Wonders does not have a line on them yet as they are not in the KaBar site, I would like to keep my purchase Canadian but.....

Go to the actual website and check out THE KNIVES section on the left:

http://www.johnsonadventureblades.com/

According to Doug Ritter there are three designs, where is the third?
http://www.equipped.org/shot_show_2010_knives.htm

Baconmaker: http://www.usabattleblade.com/5601_INFO.html

The comment, "has a unique recurve blade shape giving it the type of cutting power similar to a Kukri machete." is stupid as it would not have anywhere the weight of a kukri; just because a knife is a recurve does not mean it functions as a much heavier recurve. The Ken Onion Echo was a recurve but at 4" it is not a kukri

Potbelly: http://www.usabattleblade.com/5600_INFO.html

The comment, " has a unique bolo blade shape giving it the type of cutting power similar to a machete." is neither unique nor offers the same power as an 18" or longer machete. Typical over-sell.

More utility and less tacticool.

The Potbelly looks like a very practical camping knife, the baconmaker...not as much.

Warriors and Wonders has them now! Hopefully you haven't pulled the trigger yet.
