Hello all,

Name's WKP, I'm from Southern Ontario. I have a great interest in camping adn the outdoors and I spend a lot of time collecting knowledge and info, but seldom have I come across some Canadian specific information. So this site excites me since I love my country, I love being Canadian and the more knowledge I have of out great Canadian wilderness the better.

It sure is nice to find CA specific information, eh? There is a better scope on local challenges and learning about local destinations also rocks. I've recently taken to reading an American publication called "Backpacker"- the outdoors at your doorstep. they seem to know what they are talking about. They really do have a lot of info for a magazine, but its all about American this or that, and It only feels semi-relevant to me. There is definitely a different vibe up here and I'm hoping to see it shine through on this forum.
